MADISON-BOUCKVILLE NEW YORK
WHERE EVER YOU GO IT SEEMS THE STARTING POINT IS THE LINE.
THE LINE IS LONG AND MOVES SLOW.
ONLY A FEW OTHERS WERE WAITING.
IDYLLIC COUNTRYSIDE
EARLY SHOPPERS, WHILE PLENTIFUL, WERE, FOR THE MOST PART, JUST SHOPPERS
WITH 1000 SPACES OCCUPIED BY 700 DEALERS, SOME VARIETY WAS INEVITABLE. OVERALL THE SHOW TILTED TO OAK AND COUNTRY FURNITURE WITH THE USUAL ASSORTMENT OF GLASS, CERAMICS, JEWELRY, A SMATTERING OF EUROPEAN, AND DECORATOR ITEMS TUCKED IN HERE AND THERE.
AS YET UNTAPPED
THERE WAS ROOM AT THE TABLE FOR YOU
NEW YORK "LEGS" WERE FASHIONABLE
ROOM WAS LEFT ON THE WAGON FOR ADDITIONAL PURCHASES
SOME BUYERS WERE ABSENT
ONCE EARLY BUYING WAS OVER THE GATES WERE OPEN TO HUGE CROWDS OF CURIOSITY SEEKERS.
SOME WERE EAGER
SOME WERE CONFUSED
OTHERS WERE JUST LOOKING
GOOD HELP WAS AVAILABLE
MOST OFTEN, AS DEALERS, WE WISH FOR AT LEAST A GOOD CROWD. HOPING THAT SHEER NUMBERS WILL PRODUCE SALES.
WE HAD YOUNG SHOPPERS
SAVOY SHOPPER WITH WALKIE-TALKIE
HUNDREDS OF FAMILIES
EXPERIENCED FOLKS
THOSE THAT CONSULTED ON POSSIBLE PURCHASE
THE MOST INTERESTED WERE THE LEAST CURIOUS
THE REST WERE, SHALL WE SAY,
"CURIOUS BUT NOT INTERESTED"
"WHAT IS IT?"
WORDEN SELECT OBJECTS
"WHAT WAS IT USED FOR?"
WORDEN SELECT OBJECTS
"DOES IT WORK?"
WORDEN SELECT OBJECTS
WE LISTENED AND REPLIED "WHO?.... WHEN?..... WHERE?"
RON HARING'S VICTROLA'S
THESE ARE QUESTIONS WE ALL GRAPPLE WITH UNTIL WE REALIZE-
I AM.... NOW..... HERE.
THIS WILL COMFORT AND PROVIDE SANCTUARY.
ASW
"NOW I UNDERSTAND WHEN IT SAYS 1000 DEALERS"
IN ONE VAN?
AND THE RAIN CAME AND WASHED IT ALL AWAY
