ROUND TOP WRAP UP

BACK HOME AFTER 13 DAY ROAD TRIP. TRAVELED ABOUT 3300 MILES, STAYED IN 4 HOTELS FOR 12 NIGHTS, ATE IN 11 DIFFERENT RESTAURANTS - SOME GOOD, SOME JUST OK, BUT NONE BAD OR GREAT - MET WITH FRIENDS FROM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY, AND MET NEW PEOPLE AND CUSTOMERS. THE WEATHER WAS GREAT AND TEXAS WILD FLOWERS WERE BLOOMING IN GREAT ABUNDANCE.

BLUEBONNETS

WE WERE BUSY FROM THE TIME WE ARRIVED ON FRIDAY UNTIL A WEEK LATER ON SATURDAY WHEN WE RELOADED THE TRUCK FOR THE TRIP BACK TO MICHIGAN. LOTS OF PICTURES WERE TAKEN BUT NOT NEARLY AS MANY AS I WOULD HAVE WISHED.

DON AND MARTA ORWIG - INDIANA

POT PUSHER - FRANCE

TRIBAL ARTS

WHILE I OFTEN TRY TO IDENTIFY BOOTH OWNERS, FAILURE WAS OFTEN ACCOMPLISHED IN THIS DEPARTMENT OVER THE WEEK.

WILLIAM SPENCER "THE RAG MAN" MICHIGAN

VIEW OF THE ARTISAN'S DISPLAY AREA

DAVID DRUMMOND - PENNSYLVANIA

WHILE I STROVE TO SHOW THE DIVERSITY OF THE SHOW, I WAS STILL LIMITED BY MY OWN PERSPECTIVE. HOWEVER,  AS YOU CAN SEE, GREAT STUFF WAS IN ABUNDANCE.

POSSESSIVE KITTY WARDS OFF OZARK SUITORS

WASTE NOT WANT NOT!

THE ROUND TOP / WARRENTON RENDEZVOUS IS COMPRISED OF SOME TWENTY DIFFERENT VENUES COVERING AT LEAST 30 OR MORE MILES OF ROADS AND EVEN WITH ALL THE DIVERSITY SHOWN HERE THE OVERALL PICTURE IS EVEN MORE MIXED

WORDEN SELECT OBJECTS - MICHIGAN

NEXT POSTING COMING UP SOON.
"MARBURGER PEOPLE, FOLK, AND FRIENDS."

  2. I like " Possessive kitty wards off Ozark suitors". Exept that it looks like kitty has no teeth. I bet thats a heavy thing to drag from show to show.
Mike, you are quite the photographer and philosopher.
    Keep on truckin'
